I got the fixed gear back together. The road tires are on it. And I headed out this afternoon in upper 30 degree weather for an hour ride. I'm a bit under the weather, so it was just about getting out there..
I did see a whole pile of Alterra team folks zooming the other way a couple times.
It felt good to go.

Oh that hurts Jeff.
That was a whole pile of HOLLANDER folks you saw.
Clearly I was blind with re-learning how to pedal and all.. Plus I'm getting some sort of fever/flu/tse-tse fly thing again.
No excuses though. Please accept my most humble apologies, you and your team.
Maybe the 2nd pile of folks was Alterra folks.
