Week One..

OK, 6 days in and I have 26 or so miles of running done. I'm going to take a break and cross train tomorrow.

Today on my run I had oh so many questions... How long before I see results from this "run everyday" plan? What exactly will these results be? How did I make it this far (7 years and an Ironman) in triathlon without trying some fairly regular run specific blocks?

Yep, I'm well aware I just need to be patient and see what happens.

Anyone want to take bets on which day/week I crack and try to go mountain biking?

I use the "RUN" as my -- get back in shape feeling workouts. I enjoy the bike/swim/mtb, but it is the RUN that gives me that 'in shape' feeling.

DO BOTH!!

Who is making you run??

Go for a ride on the MTB. It is really fun and you don't have to worry about injuring yourself before an IM. Hell you might even like it enough to try an Xterra?

Sundays are a good day to 'crack' if you ask me. You know, a day of rest.

0-26 in one week. Not bad, JWM. I call today as your MTB day. And most importantly (that is, aside from you having a really good time on the bike) what do I win if I'm correct??
